This is my 1965 Hilgen Basso B2501 which started its life out as a bass combo. When I received it, the first thing that needed to be replaced was the output transformer. The paper tolex was falling off of it, so I refinished the cab and replaced both front and rear baffles with real wood, replacing the failing particle board. I also replaced the front cloth. One of the mods I had done to it was to be able to use the bass channels as a second gain stage. I replaced the 15" speaker that sounded like it had a wet blanket covering it with the infamous Celestine Green Back. Now it sounds like it should. I have the schematics and notes on the amp as well. Bring a thumb drive so I can transfer them for you. Great pedal platform, although no effect loop. Two 7591A power tubes. a Unique sounding amp with some mojo. I have had it since about 2000. I just don't need it anymore, and cleaning house. First $800 takes it
