He is halter broke and accepts hoof handling, but he is not a beginner animal. He is very shy and cautious with unfamiliar people and takes time to warm up once he does, he’s personable and food motivated (loves apples). He will need patience and a calm, consistent handler.
He is not current on vaccinations as our area vet retired and large animal vets are scarce locally. Buyer should be prepared to establish vet care.
Rehoming due to time constraints.. he deserves more attention than we’re able to give him right now.
Best fit: Experienced donkey or mule owner, property with other animals for companionship, someone with time to build trust slowly.
Not a good fit: First-time donkey owners, homes looking for an immediately handleable animal.
