Briggs & Stratton made millions of these horizontal opposed, vertical shaft engines. Starter is included and was rebuilt. (I sold the mower it was the back up for. My first mower engine never died. I used it from 1994 until 2019 to mow an acre. I even put out the reverse gear which I have the original 3 speed plus hi/lo range; transaxle needing reverse gear for a Craftsman GT series rider INCLUDED with it.)
I removed all tins and cleaned up engine but never had it running. I know and trust the machinist who sold it to me. I have a battery and would help get it running if you have the intelligence to help me bench start it! five7zerosix60nine5ate9.
