These measurements are approximates. There is a lip around the bottom front and two sides and also on the top.

A pull-out shelf on left, 2 pull-out drawers bottom right and small storage area with door. There are 2 slide out doors on area where tv is that can hide the tv - they slide out from each side and fold close over tv area. They slide back in each side when not in use. The picture appears to be slightly lighter than the unit.
